In general, any worship that a person recites on behalf of another person in exchange for a sum of money is called an Istijari worship, and this worship can be recommended, such as reciting the end of the Qur’an or prayer, or it can be obligatory, such as prayer and fasting, but the performance of obligatory acts of worship is only permissible on behalf of the dead Muslims
One of the issues emphasized by Islam is that the eldest son of the parents should perform the prayers and fasts of the parents’ Qadha(the worships not performed by the own muslim) after their death, either by himself or by hiring someone for this work. Naturally, the daily busyness often does not provide the opportunity for a person to perform the Qadha of prayer or fasting of his parents, for this reason, he entrusts this work to reliable people who can perform the actions correctly
